Job Position: 6X6 Truck Driver

Purpose of the position:
- Responsible for forwarding poles from plantations to different locations.
Key Result Areas and accountabilities:
- Comply with relevant health & safety requirements.
- Ensure the truck is loaded and offloaded appropriately
- Forwarding poles from plantation to designated areas on time
- Always keeping the truck in good working order.
- Work hand-in-glove with the maintenance team to ensure necessary repairs are done promptly.
- Observe the company’s policies and procedures, Transport Management Prescription enshrined in
- Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Complete a logbook daily
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies required to perform this role:
- Drivers’ licence class E. having class D, G and F is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Ability to complete the logbook daily.
- Defensive Driving
- Ability to drive a tractor & skidder is an added advantage.
- Excellent eyesight and hearing
- Proven analytical ability.
- Basic knowledge of heavy-duty machine mechanical layout and service requirements
